Thank goodness for the redemption;) Lovely post Co. I'd jump to comment on #5, but you already included it for me IN CAPS. Smarty.

Ah. The horrible truths about my weird taste in music are going to have to come out now. Don't say I didn't warn you!

Gosh. I forgot about "Crash". I am right there with you.

I'm with you on Billie Jean.

And, as a polite Midwesterner (except that time I beat that tourist who didn't walk on the RIGHT SIDE OF THE SIDEWALK), I want to thank you for including me in Music in My Kitchen. I shall now gather my thoughts . . .

    What? No Pink Martini?

Thanks, Coquette! Yes, the book exists, and I can't wait to read it. It's just the kind of girl I am.

So as you are living in Paris like me, what do you think of Parisian?stressed,aggressive..??Tell me!!!
    See you!

dig the new look, chica! I love the font (reminds me of a whorehouse! yes!)

oh Coquette! the new look is good--- feels a little can-can . . oui?

Definitely a nice new look. It feels like a logo and color scheme you'd seen in a lace-draped neighborhood creperie.

Glad you guys like the look!!! The old one made me smile, but it was beginning to look a little Fisher Price Playskool to me.

    Bonjour Coquette!

Just discovered your weblog recently through your Bloggies 05 nominations (voted for you! Bonne chance!). I have to admit that you really make me laugh... ^_^ love the way you write. Ironically, I am in exactly the opposite situation: I am a French expat living in the States (and right in the middle of nowhere, a.k.a. Kansas!). It's good to see what up in France!
Aie... J'espere que j'en ai pas trop rajoute!

Lovin' the colors, coquette. Very soft and pretty... although, I had you pegged for an orange girl. Hmm

Monsieur Keefe--Pink Martini is brilliance. Agreed.

Caroline--Your photography is beautiful! Happy to have you here all the way from Kansas ;)

Meg--I know, it all does feel almost a little *too* pretty. I'm having a pink moment.

Love the new look! As others have mentioned before, its very pretty and very 'French'. Also love what you're playing in your kitchen - I'm sure they're proabably in your iPod already, but if not, you might like The Killers, Snowpatrol, The Eels and The Thrills too...

I also love the new look of your blog! I agree that Paul Simon's early stuff is great.

You did a great job with the blog. :) Like the new look.
