These are our Jean Michel Cazabat’s, purchased during the June-July sales in Paris. What you can’t see in this picture is that we are holding up the pant legs of our pajamas with the saggy bottoms.
Coquette can give no front-line reportage. She has failed the first rule of the Samurai Shopper--NEVER MISS ANY SALE ENDING IN “ANNUAL.” Please turn to the bloggers on our sidebar for coverage. We’re going to go weep all over our Paris Vogue now.
Those are some damn cute shoes. I'm very jealous - but wait, I have 4 pairs of gold sandals already (am a little bit obsessive).
The soldes were indeed magnificent. Sigh. I want to go to Paris now - I'm sure I'd get over my shopping slump then.

Jacinthe, I don't think you're obsessive--shopping samurais always advise buying things you love in pairs. Quadruples just means you are VERY expert.
Jeanne (aka "Jane") je suis pressé de faire les soldes avec toi!
C, trop contente de t'avoir ici! A.P.C. does lovely, cool things, don't they?

I'm definitely going out today, although, alas, not before lunch as some stupid plumber couldn't have finished his job yesterday. If I don't find anything, I am so going to blame that three hours of plumber-supervising.

It's not too late! The first days of the sales, as you know, are insane. After that, it's actually bearable. I got my best bargain last year at the very end, when I snagged a pair of pointy-toed black suede boots in a shop on the rue de Passy.
