When Kathleen was visiting, she made the astute comment that the French are always speaking in the negative--Ce n’est pas possible! Ce n’est pas vrais! Perhaps in light of this, she couldn’t get enough of holding up my deodorant and pointing to her pits and shouting “Non!”
