Cashmere panty designer Gentry Lane, she who sends the most perversely hysterical emails, has organized a burlesque night at Divan du Monde, hosted by ladies' man, mans' man, Cabarock emcee Nicolas Ullman. (You may have seen his myspace page already, but if not, I won't tell anyone.)

Bumps & grinds to blow your mind! You'll thrill, you'll chill, you'll fork over your dollar bills (er, Euros) for this star-studded Burlesque Revue.
Not since Josephine Baker hit the boards has Paris seen a show like the Gentry de Paris Burlesque Troupe. We have tap dancers and fan dancers, peacock feathers and rose petals, electro Django gypsy jazz from the *amazing* Caravan Palace, plus the King of Parisian Nightlife and Dandy Supreme, Monsieur Nicolas Ullmann to host the festivities.
And imported for your pleasure from the US of A, Burlesque's most scintillating stars: Vienna Le Rouge, Tana the Tattooed Lady and Bettina May.
Plus we have drink specials, Virginie Notte's Modern Pin-Up photo exhibit and book launch, Nikola Acin and his Stellar Sideburns will spin swinging tunes before and after the show, plus the chance to get your photo taken with the stars.
All this for the low, low price of only 15 Euros. Reserve fast...this show is sure to sell out.
Ouverture des portes à 20h

I think I saw you last Thursday....were you walking your velolib' on the sidewalk on Boulevard Haussmann around 6pm near Printemps (if it was you??? you were wearing dark blue pants and a black top or vice-versa and white Bensimon type sneakers???) I wasn't sure if it was you and almost called your name but then I thought it would have been stupid since I don't know you and you don't know me...and if it wasn't you...I would have looked like a fool. En tout cas...

Ooh, you should have said something! I was looking around for a place to deposit the bike. We'll just have to meet sometime in planned setting.
