From the looks of it, that's not all she's enjoying ;)

I really miss Kellogg's Extra avec pepites de chocolat. Sigh.

Want. Now that the bar is over - bring on the chocolate cereal.

well it's french so it HAS to have some chocolate!!

I love French theories of nutrition. Somehow Nutella and Kinderchocolat are healthy because they have minerals.

Well...that cereal does look good. But does it beat Honey Bunches of Oats?I'd have to have a taste test.

hmmm, is that a spoon she's sucking or is she just happy to see you?

C'mon...I've lived in Paris and I know French women don't eat this stuff or fall for slick advertising!
Posted by: trillina | 07 August 2007 at 01:57 AM
So.... French women don't get or fat AND they don't fall for advertising? :)
I'm not sure that I agree that they don't fall for advertising, but anyway that wasn't my point. My point was just that this ad is lusty for a food that we eat at 7am. Not that I mind! Vive les sexy cereal boxes!
signé, another American Puritan

p.s. To everybody who asked, this cereal is good. But not as good as Country Crisp (which I generally eat for dessert-- I'm an oatmeal w/ banana person for breakfast).
But NOTHING beats plain Cheerios...which you can't get in France except for 12 euro a box (!) at The Real McCoy. Sigh.
(Lisa: You survived the bar! Yay!)

I think you're supposed to be naked when you eat that kind of cereal as well.

Great blog. I've been a reader of your blog ever since I moved to Paris last school year to study. Now back in the States, I'm starting my own fashion blog chronicling the latest in fashion on my college campus with commentary by yours truly. Check it out at http://jonaevilleneuve.wordpress.com/ I will definitely continue reading up on your blog.

You want me to bring you some Cheerios in October?
I like the way they call them "petales" de cereales..
Very sexy

What, so none of you feel sexy in the morning?? That's a shame!

Paris Breakfasts, oh, that is a very dear offer....if you wanted to do that, I would not say no!
(My parents are coming in September with, I'm hoping, a stash. God, it's like crack. I'm already thinking about my next fix.)

That's nothing. There's a commercial in France (I only saw it during my trip last summer, alas I cannot say that it is still showing) for HAM that makes you think it must be supernatural. Of course I can't remember the brand now...but the woman eating the slice of ham in the commercial couldn't have been more happy to be eating it.
