Congratulations! I love the site (I just found it!) and the many, many shoes. and am so jealous of both paris (I visited!) and Chicago (I used to live there...)

Mathieu

Congratulations!

Scarlet

Oh great article on the platforms! Made me laugh:)

Cheeky Kitten

Love the articles. You have a great writing style (especially for the web), if I may wax editorial on ya. Clodhoppers scare me too...

Dawn

Congratulations! I can't even imagine how great it must feel to see all your hard work in print, finally.

andrea

congrats, so exciting to see the results of your work come together like that. Also love that the magazine used illustrations.

Elizabeth

OH! This is fantastic!! How do I buy an actual magazine (or 10?) I want to get this to Lauren, my niece so she can see the rock star she hung out with last summer!

AM. SO. PROUD. of you. Bravo!

brando

you stomping vixen, you.

very nice!

Coquette

Thanks guys!

Andrea, I know the illustrator rocks. We saw her work in British ELLE and loved it.

Elizabeth, for Lauren? Mais bien sur we can get her one! Send me her address and I will take care of it.

Gloria

How exciting! The platform article was fun, and oooh, those bags. I want a new bag now..

Neil

Fabulous! You should be proud of your great work. You deserve to buy yourself another pair of shoes... and not at discount!

Sammy

I loved the platform article as well, though at 5ft11 barefoot I have to say that I will only be living vicariously through it as well.

Huge congrats, Coquette.

katie

Great article!!! I'm just impressed that you wore all those platforms during the winter in Chicago. Talk about treacherous!!!!

Coquette

Thank you for acknowledging that Katie. I got stuck walking home after a snowstorm in the Sergio Rossi platforms--inching along like a snail and slipping everywhere on the ice. My friend Jen thank god never stopped holding my elbow, or laughing when I flailed.

Oh, how I suffer for my art!

JenBen

Greedy me. I need to see pics of all of the shoes mentioned in the Liftoff article. I know a few were pictured in here, but do I need to google the rest? Fun articles - looking forward to buying the issue.

Alex Katsanos

Another newbie here. I like your writing and your site. (Mignon!) I also like your Chicago fashion pages. Good photography, models and clothing. Did you shoot all that in Chicago?

hellolizzie

PLEASE tell us you got to keep the shoes (or at least one pair)!!!! I loves me some platforms and always buy lots of shoes when they are in!

ering

LOVE, love, love the articals and illustration. I am most impressed though that you made it an INTIRE week wearing platforms in the winter in Chicago! Bravo!

Serena

Congrats! Love reading the site and all of your stories.

gillian

You have a way of writing which is so human, lovable, and entertaining to read. As a journalism student I can look up to you with big eyes and say: you have written some great articles.

And welcome back to Paris. If you ever want to go for some English conversation and Pierre Hermes pastries, get in touch with me.

floridora

Very impressive!

kim Baker

how cool is that for you! I love your stories, you have such a gift of gab, that cracks me up..I will definately buy the book you write about your experiences:)

Lesley

That is really excellent. How great for you, to be able to enjoy Chicago and Paris all in one lifetime!

Pumpkin Pie

Congratulations!
What a dream job even if it is alot of work. And, the travel between America and France...I am jealous and happy for you at the same time.

R J Keefe

Way to go, Coquette!

shannon

Very fun articles! My fav is "liftoff", I wish I could have tried all of those shoes!

Great job!

Emily Hiebert

One question....did you get to keep any of the shoes?

beth

YEAH! hurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrah!

Fashionable Kiffen

The magazine looks awesome - I especially enjoyed the platform story (I have been wearing totally impractical shoes all winter in Chicago - but hey, sometimes you have to suffer for fabulous shoes!)
Your blog is great, I am so jealous you get to live in Paris!

ams

Brilliant. Im beyond jealous at the shoes you got to try out - great articles!

Nicole

hello! i just discovered your blog! wow, i want your life! keep up the entertaining posts :D let's talk fashion sometime.

Nicole

sorry bout the double commenting but i read your article "Liftoff" and you are hilarious! i love your writing style.

Jen

Bravoooo ! Je viens seulement de lire ce post, c'est génial ! Ca va, pas trop blasé par le star systme ?!! ;)) Encore félicitations.

Noelle

Wonderful articles Elisabeth!!! I am so happy for your success- could you write an article on cashmere panties soon? :)

rhyme_child

I just found your blog and so I've just read your article on platform shoes. Amusing. Then I read the fall 06 edition of the same mag -specifically the article on big bags . . It was a lift-off rip-off! The witless plagarist uses exact phrases from your spring article: "bad for my reputation," etc. Are you fuming?

Coquette

umm, yes. yes i am actually. i spent an inordinate amount of time on that particular piece. i am so surprised this was even allowed to HAPPEN. and hurt that no one from the magazine realized or has emailed me to apologize.
